NOW ON TOUR! - THE RPG TRAILER (prototype) FIRST mini-TOUR!

The RPG Trailer is going on the road, throughout Washington State, October 6th through 10th!

RPG Trailer Tour 1 Route Map

The Prototype of the Wheelchair Friendly RPG Trailer is Now a Reality!

The above links to information about a prototype that is working toward the more ideal custom-built trailer. While it is wheelchair accessible, it only seat 3-4 people in wheelchairs, and does not (yet) have an ADA accessible bathroom. The custom-built ideal version will seat 6+ people in wheelchairs, has ADA bathroom and side door, and even more wheelchair friendly features.

The Wheelchair Friendly RPG Trailer improves the outreach for free educational and therapeutic-based services,

throughout the Northwest and the rest of  North America.

Services include using all forms of role-playing games: tabletop, live-action (LARP), guided choose-your-own-adventures/solo, and computer-based RPGs.

The services provide many core and ancillary benefits in meeting the needs of a diverse range of people.

Populations/needs include (but not limited to):

  • At-risk youth
  • Autism spectrum (ASD / PDD)
  • ADHD
  • brain injury recovery (stroke, TBI, etc.)
  • social skills development
  • social phobias
  • PTSD
  • Deaf & Hard of Hearing
  • and many others...

About HAWKE ROBINSON
Hawke Robinson, founder of RPG Research, RPG Therapeutics LLC, and creator of the RPG Trailer

My name is Hawke Robinson, residing in Spokane since 2004.

I volunteer at many locations helping people of all ages.

This includes using role-playing games (RPGs) to help people.

I run both regular and adapted games, for both regular and special needs populations.

Using Therapeutic Recreation methodologies, I design and provide, for FREE,

services for special needs populations throughout the greater Spokane, Washington area.

I also attempt to provide these services to other locations throughout North America,

but since I am providing these services for free, it has been very expensive to do so,

and so has greatly limited the number of people that can receive the many benefits.

The RPG Trailer will greatly reduce the costs, solve many logistics issues,

and greatly improve the efficiency of service offerings provided

to far more people than could otherwise participate.

I am registered with the Washington State Department of Health as a Recreational Therapist.

I am a part-time student at Eastern Washington University (EWU.edu),

working on degrees in Recreation Therapy, Music Therapy, Neuroscience & Research Psychology.

I am a member in good standing with the Washington State Therapeutic Recreation Association (WSTRA.org),

the Pacific Northwest American Therapeutic Recreation Association (PNWATRA.org),

and the American Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA-online.com).
